Doesn't Bootcamp now have a Windows driver for the iSight? The same camera plugged into fireware port of mac mini (that runs windows) works fine. The cmucamera caveats/bugs are out of OpenCV scope.

There's no driver to update and nothing really has changed since it worked other than I told iPhoto NOT to upload photos from my camera automatically. And I've always been a fan. I really wanted the Mac to be better. Eyal Nevo - New York From other posts, both systems are using build-in iSight cameras.

I have the Pyro 1394, others like the iBot or the Fire-i, but IMHO all these Firewire webcams have been lackluster in terms of driver performance and software support for their products. The iSight/iChatAV team may push them to go further. Al Gore on the iChat cam talking to Steve Jobs via a link up on iChat.

Are there any other supported webcams to use with Mac OS, or is iSight my only choice? I want to use the cam to take pics with, and connect to various has 30 min trial versions of their drivers; so you can test your camera out before you commit to buying the driver (or lose the return period on the camera).
